1. DEFINITIONS

   "Software" means this software and its documentation, in source or
   compiled form, including any modification of it.

   "You" means the individual or legal entity exercising rights under this
   License.

   "Educational Use" means use by a student, educator, or researcher for
   learning, teaching, coursework, or academic research; and use by any
   individual for personal study or a personal project that is not intended
   to produce revenue.

   "Commercial Use" means any use that is not Educational Use or Evaluation
   Use. Use is Commercial whenever it supports the operations, products,
   services, or decision-making of a business, government body, or other
   organization, whether or not the Software is sold, whether or not a fee
   is charged, and whether or not the organization is for profit. Internal
   business use is Commercial Use.

   "Evaluation Use" means Commercial Use for the sole purpose of assessing
   the Software, by one organization, for up to 30 consecutive days, not in
   production and not to serve customers.

2. GRANT FOR EDUCATIONAL AND EVALUATION USE

   Subject to this License, BIDB.ai, Inc. grants You a worldwide,
   royalty-free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use,
   copy, modify, and create derivative works of the Software for Educational
   Use and Evaluation Use, and to redistribute the Software or Your
   modifications of it provided that:

   (a) You include this License and the copyright notice above with every
       copy, and state plainly that the Software is licensed by BIDB.ai, Inc.
       and that Commercial Use requires a separate license;

   (b) You mark any file You have changed as changed; and

   (c) You do not charge a fee for the Software itself, and do not remove or
       obscure any notice of authorship, license, or origin.

3. COMMERCIAL USE REQUIRES A LICENSE

   No right to Commercial Use is granted by this License. To use the
   Software commercially, obtain a commercial license from BIDB.ai, Inc. at
   licensing@bidb.ai. Commercial licenses are available on reasonable terms,
   including for startups and small teams.

4. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS

   All rights not expressly granted are reserved by BIDB.ai, Inc. This
   License grants no rights in the trademarks, service marks, or trade names
   of BIDB.ai, Inc., including "FiniDB", "Finicast", and "BIDB.ai".

5. TERMINATION

   This License terminates automatically if You breach it. It also
   terminates if You assert a patent claim alleging that the Software
   infringes a patent. On termination You must stop using and distributing
   the Software; Section 6 survives.

6. NO WARRANTY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

   THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS
   OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF
   MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND
   NONINFRINGEMENT. THE SOFTWARE IS NOT CERTIFIED FOR ANY PARTICULAR USE AND
   MAY PRODUCE INCORRECT RESULTS; YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING ANY
   OUTPUT YOU RELY ON.

   TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BIDB.ai, Inc.
   BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN
   ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN
   CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR ITS USE, INCLUDING ANY LOST PROFITS,
   LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

7. GENERAL

   If any provision of this License is held unenforceable, the rest remains
   in effect. This License is the entire agreement between You and
   BIDB.ai, Inc. concerning the Software, and supersedes any prior
   understanding about it.
